Apple has been focusing on Augmented reality and virtual reality technology for a couple of years. Recently, Apple unveiled an all-new iPad pro with LiDAR sensors which are a short form for Light Detection and Randing. The exciting thing is that Apple is working on to use this technology in its upcoming sensational iPhone 12 series.
The sources of information came from 9To5Mac which says that the trillion-dollar tech giant is working on using the LiDAR sensors in its upcoming successor of the iPhone 11.
A code that was found in the iOS 14 gives us a shred of small evidence for the upcoming app called the Gobi, which revolves around AR capabilities using the LiDAR sensors.
The way these sensors work will let the user know more about the things around them and give more accurate results. This is going to the utmost use of AR technology in the real world which is being used in the gaming world mostly.
Furthermore, there is going to be a delay in the launch of the upcoming 5G iPhone due to the current situation the world is going through. The rumors in the past suggested that the company will be launching a budget iPhone and a 5G model of the iPhone this year but due to the COVID-19, the launch date will be rescheduled.
Apple has also made an online screen testing tool and app for COVID-19 which will let you test yourself at home, the symptoms of the virus.
