The upcoming Airpods could be named AirPods X, codenamed B517 especially built for those who are indulged in the sports activity. The AirPods X will more likely to be a neckband earphone and might be priced at $200, as per the tipster Jon Prosser.
Another product could be an over the ear headphones similar to that of Bose 700 smart noise-canceling headphones whose codename is B515 and will be offering features such as active noise cancellation and some more features that make the listeners’ audio experience amazing.
The headphones are said to be announced over WWDC 2020, an online event that will be held in June, confirmed by Apple. The expected price of the over the ear headphones is $350.
Lastly, the Airpods X is expected to be launched around September or October along with the upcoming iPhone models. The launch will be affected due to the coronavirus pandemic.
